Non-Native English Support

What I do not do

As I am committed to providing the best support for graduate students, there are certain services that I do not offer or engage in as part of my role:

Rewriting or proofreading
I do not provide rewriting or proofreading services for students' work. My focus is on guiding students in improving their writing skills and overcoming their challenges, rather than editing their work for them.

Providing answers to academic problems
While I am here to assist students in understanding and working through their research, I do not supply direct answers to academic problems or complete assignments on their behalf.

Reading theses, dissertations, manuscripts or other written work outside of one-on-one sessions
My support is primarily focused on addressing specific issues during our scheduled sessions, and I do not read or review entire theses or dissertations outside of these meetings.

Guaranteeing specific outcomes
Although I strive to provide the best guidance and support possible, I cannot guarantee particular results or outcomes for students, such as passing their defence, receiving specific grades, or publishing their work.

My goal is to empower students to become better, more confident writers and researchers, and to provide the tools they need to succeed academically. By focusing on what I can do to help students, I ensure that they get the most value out of our time together.
